Midnight Commander: the correct way to browse files in Linux

I prefer vim for editing but the Midnight Commander editor is fine for making a few minor changes." http://vifm.info/ http://vifm.info/ has an mc theme. I used mc for years and switched to ranger for a while before I finally found my home among the familiar key commands and environment that vifm offers.
