I do agree with the top comment though, If you can make a change, if you can improve the job your doing at the moment then you may find its better than another job you could end up with. I'm not really speaking from experience, but talk to you managers and see what they can do for you. Im sure they wouldn't want you to quit, and if they aren't fussed then you know its not the job for you.
