You're welcome. If you can't take control, and you hate what you're doing, you have to get out. Take a day to plan a definite exit, make a plan, then put it into action. Be clear that you will help them find a replacement, make sure you have somewhere to go. If you're about to start looking for work you should put contact details in your HN profile, including a pointer to an up-to-date CV.
