Life's too short. Find something you enjoy and leave. At least in the US, if you weren't performing or if you were bringing the team down, that alone could be enough for the company to let you go. Sometimes loyalty doesn't get you very far. Basically, if you're not happy, find something that makes you happy. Otherwise, your days may be numbered anyway, but not at your choosing.
