The situation for 64-bit Windows is similar (http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/1884 http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/1884). I imagine it will be even more difficult to find someone with extensive low-level Windows and Unix skills to create the Windows port.
