- bhouston 11y agoSwitch to the percentage view of the languages, you'll notice that PHP's percentage is decreasing: 7.7% -> 6.3%. It isn't decreasing as fast as Ruby is (although that may be an artifact of the Ruby community being a first adopter of Github), but it is still decreasing. C++, C#, Go, JavaScript, Java, Shell and CSS are not decreasing.
- eugeneionesco 11y agoThat does not mean anything. The point is, PHP is not being kept alive by just couple of companies.
