Maybe it is just me, but I don't see an issue at all, the puzzle is well stated, the answer is pretty easy to get when you understand the puzzle. The trick, if there is one, is deciding what can be filtered out immediately (the 5), and what can be filtered out based on the direction of the implication (the blue). Done. (Maybe it helps that I studied logic - and math, lots of math - at uni, and that I read Fast&Slow recently, and therefore pay more attention than I used to? Dunno.)
