smhenderson: as a regular emacs user, I certainly agree that Richard Stallman has many valuable achievements to his name. I don't hate and despise him at all. But he is also someone who speaks bluntly: I'm sure (if he ever hears about it, which is doubtful) he can handle a little blunt writing in response.
- smhenderson 11y agoFair enough, I've read lot of worse criticism of him. And while your reasoning is clear I do tend to agree more with the comment I responded to over your article. But I do acknowledge that your article was civil and to the point. I should have clarified that I was generalizing my exposure to Stallman, his fans and his critics over years and not specifically talking about your article.
