Can I find the highest salaries?
- iagooar 11y agoTake a look at Airbnb, Data Scientist. This person has been doing >$1.000.000 a year...
- philsnow 11y agowhat does "status: withdrawn" mean ?
- refurb 11y agoIt means the petition was withdrawn. My guess is that that person left the company.
- negrit 11y agoI actually think it means they decide to no make go further with the LCA. Like they decided to finally not hire the employee or the employee decided to not work for this company anymore.
- refurb 11y agoActually that makes more sense. It is possible to be working on another visa while a company files the LCA for you (TN, L, visas, etc), but it's probably less likely than a new H1-B hire.
- sjg007 11y agoThey probably misfiled the LCA at 1m and re filed at 100k.
- lukasm 11y agoI've seen that. It's either mistake or he sold the shares.
- ajays 11y agoNetflix? Senior Software Engineer, $375K.
- joering2 11y agoSerious question. What kind of skills of knowledge or experience do you have to have so that you take more than quarter million of dollars??? Incredible!!
- lgieron 11y agoFor a company like Netflix, my guess is, you need to be a world-class expert at some area of scalable backends and/or big data. For example, you need to be a core contributor (in terms of concepts, architecture etc. - not just coding) to projects like Kafka, Cassandra, Spark etc.
- owenfi 11y agoThey ran the million dollar challenge[1] to increase viewership, thus decreasing churn. If you could (make a case that you) consistently decrease churn then you'd pay for yourself at that rate. 1: http://www.wired.com/2012/04/netflix-prize-costs/ http://www.wired.com/2012/04/netflix-prize-costs/
