Automated.
Macs:
Time Machine to a NAS, plus Backblaze.
Windows:
Genie (which sort of sucks performance-wise but all of the backup solutions on Windows seem to be terrible. I miss the built-in one from Windows 7.) to NAS, plus Backblaze.
Linux:
rdiff-backup to NAS.
Servers:
Linode backup.
- phaer 11y agoI don't use Windows, but often found https://www.bvckup2.com/ https://www.bvckup2.com/ quite satisfying when I set up backups for Windows users among friends & family.
- karlshea 11y agoThanks! Looks really slick, I'm giving it a try. It's too bad there's no snapshots or restore/recovery but that's probably fine, with Windows those end up being pretty flakey anyways.
