I was really struggling to pick up c++, and when I read the FQA I had a 'it's not me, it's you' moment. I don't detest the language the way he does, but the FQA really resonated with me. There's no one feature that kills the language, but it seems like everywhere you go you run into a feature that feels like it was designed to trip you up, and it gets tiring after a while.
