Given all the vitriol on another front-page thread, I wanted to note from the site that "A close reading of published NSA leaks shows that the agency's attacks on VPNs are consistent with having achieved such a break." I'm grateful to people who disclose and fix vulnerabilities instead of leaving everyone vulnerable, and kudos especially to Nadia Heninger from this team, whose work has only grown in interesting-ness and practical implications over the past few years.
