Your example is a tad ironic. Why wasn't the original system implemented in the straightforward way? Unless there's a good reason, your example is a pretty effective demonstration of what Dijkstra is warning about.
- thewarrior 11y agoYes it is. But on the other hand, the system has worked all these years , thousands of customers used it and got their jobs done. At that time they needed quick prototypes to settle on a good design.
