It is a combination.
Policies from the government over the last couple of decades have combined with people's greed, and well we are where we are today.
Individuals are of course to blame too, but it is hard to pin point who got the ball rolling.
- marrs 11y agoIt got a big push from Blair and Brown. Their entire strategy seemed to be to get people to generate as much debt as possible, to raise as much tax revenue as possible to spend on NHS, education, and all that good stuff. To be honest, I'm surprised they managed to keep the racket going for as long as they did.
