How to manipulate standards
- tormeh 11y agoUh... How long is this guy planning to keep his job? EDIT: I'll leave this up as a reminder to myself that my disbelief needs to be given greater weight...
- tanderson92 11y agodjb? Probably a while; after all, he does have tenure...

- susmits 11y agoHere's a PDF link to the slides: http://cr.yp.to/talks/2015.05.08/slides-djb-20150508-a4.pdf http://cr.yp.to/talks/2015.05.08/slides-djb-20150508-a4.pdf
- helyka 11y agoI went over this and I feel like I need a little context to understand exactly what this is besides some guys ramblings about Verizon. Or is this an official document "leaked" from Verizon?
- eddyb 11y agoIt seems that DJB went a bit too far with his sarcasm. Or it's not entirely clear from the slides alone.
- acqq 11y agoContext: the conference at which the talk is presented: "The Eindhoven Institute for the Protection of Systems and Information (Ei/PSI) organizes a 1-day event on Security in Times of Surveillance on Friday, 08 May 2015. The event will take place at the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven in the Blauwe Zaal. It features eight invited talks covering technical as well as legal and political aspects of security and surveillance. The program closes with a viewing of the CITIZENFOUR film." Then read the disclaimer of the presentation which you certainly skipped.
