Being late sometimes is ok but every time for ~6 years ? When people ask you to come at a certain time they are asking you if they can trust you to be here at that time. By arriving late deliberately you have abused their trust and been dishonest. This is not a professional problem that you are having, it is a human problem : it is disrespect.
