I wonder if the fabric is machine washable.

  Good question! From the video the structure of the fabric looks more like padding (sprayed in layers and not woven) but perhaps there is an adhesive in the filament that makes it strong like woven fabric and able to withstand washing and normal wear.

  Hey, this is Aaron, one of the co-founders. The material is not machine washable as of now. The polyester blend actually has some pretty cool water resistance properties, but full submersion typically results in degradation. The material is very much just a prototyping material as of now, not something that can immediately replace the clothes we normally wear. Of course, a considerable amount of R&D will be spent on the material science, post-processing techniques, etc. in hopes of improving the overall durability.
