I hear what you're saying about Elon Musk's Tesla company and brand. But listen to what you're saying - someone took a man's name and made a company on it and now you're saying another company can't do the same thing cause the first company is already associated with the man's name.
- smhg 11y agoI think the underlying meaning of the comment was the timing is unlucky. With Tesla Motors being highly popular and roughly in the same sector. At least one of them isn't applicable to the other comparison. Combined with an unrealistic product, it's a bit tricky. 'A steal' doesn't have the same meaning as 'stealing' I think? But I'm not native English.
- seasoup 11y agoAt least electric cars and tesla and musk have a connection... Elon and tesla are both idealists that hope their work will change the world and it will. Electric cars are about transitioning to using electricity to run cars, tesla discovered ac and his work transitioned much of the modern world to electricity. This site has nothing to do with any of that.
