I wonder why they didn't just track down the pilots of that flight and ask if they had an uncommanded increase in thrust on one engine.
- digdigdag 11y agoNone of this really adds up for me. The in-flight entertainment system should run completely separate from the RTOS that governs thrust, navigation, control surfaces, etc. I highly doubt these mission-critical systems would somehow be directly connected to the back-seat infotainment systems that regularly crash after a few flicks of the finger.
