I am not an Atom user although I have played around with it. Is the 2MB limit really a problem? I always thought of Atom as a web languages editor not a heavy duty text processor like I think of programs such as UltraEdit.

Most of the time I don't have such big files. But if you have one and cannot open it, it is disturbing.
