Amen. What bothers me about the "AirBnB is taking housing units off the market" line of thinking is that the people claiming this is a Big Deal almost always ignore policies that prevent larger amounts of housing from ever being built.
1000-2000 units is peanuts compared to the number of units that could be built if single-family zoning was ended in SF.
