The idea we had at my work was to setup a web service that just puts urls in your s3 bucket. Nothing more, nothing less. Filepicker's storeUrl function without the baggage. Designed for server side apps that prefer to avoid streaming / download-uploading files locally in order to get them into a bucket. Non trivial compute resource value add that would take very little time to code. Low risk for adopter: their files are stored in their bucket.
