The absence of a pull request does not negate the validity of a criticism. Hacker News is one of the most tech-savvy, intelligent and experienced audience you can find on the web. Everyone sucks, myself included. With that kind of attitude, I would never have learned anything. Shielding yourself from criticism using an arbitrary criteria only perpetuates ignorance.
