I have been Lenovo faithful for many years, although I mainly run Linux and keep a small Windows partition. I strongly recommend you reinstall Windows. Thankfully the regular Windows 7 (and presumably later) disks/USB images from Microsoft work. The software you will want from Lenovo is their System Updater which can be installed on a fresh (non-Lenovo) Windows install, and will let you install drivers and similar software (nothing is forced, all up to you). The one thing you won't be able to install the various pieces of crapware, but that is a benefit.
