    That of course doesn't delete it from the history :-) You can do that via https://help.github.com/articles/remove-sensitive-data/ https://help.github.com/articles/remove-sensitive-data/, but once it's been cloned, the file is of course out of the toothpaste tube so to speak :-)

    I've changed the secret key that I am using in production. I wanted the settings.py to be there so it works out of the box if anyone forks it.
