As a counterpoint, yes, I have, and I ended up selling the Mac, despite trying to get used to it for a few months of full-time use. I prefer KDE (and I don't mess with the settings, I just use the defaults), which I use with Mageia linux, and yes, it's just a matter of personal preference.
