Sadly no. The one last remaining hurdle, the main reason for still using Silverlight (And to a lesser extent, Flash), still hasn't been solved - that of the requirement for DRM by rights holders. Until all vendors get on board and ditch their idealistic objections (Right or wrong), those plugins will remain.
