I want a site like this too! I've become so frustrated with stupid interviews, I've just started walking out. I feel that if a company can't be bothered to learn how to conduct a meaningful interview, I don't want to work there anyway.
Nowadays, I tell recruiters right up front that I won't do whiteboard questions. I'm more than happy to bring code I'm currently working on to the interview and talk about it with the interviewer, but I will not subject myself to pointless puzzles and demeaning whiteboard tests.
Another thing I've seen companies do in interviews is ask candidates to code something on their own time as part of the interview process. I have then seen that code go live on their site. I won't write production-ready code for companies as part of the interview process anymore because of that clever bit of dishonesty.
- seige 11y agoHow many companies are left after you declare you wont participate in whiteboard questions?
- innocentoldguy 11y agoI've never been unemployed during my 25-year career, so apparently enough.
