Maybe I am in the minority here, but I thought the interview process was super fun! I enjoyed solving puzzles on the whiteboard and the courting process. "Forced to write whiteboard code" ... is that really how you feel about it? In some ways solving well-specified problems (often a few carefully-crafted gems) with a captive audience is a special treat. And then you typically have the opportunity to turn the tables and ask questions about their business and engineering challenges. Maybe just relax a little and try to have fun with it? (I know, easier said than done when your career is on the line.)
