Faster? Math grads might be able to use some mathematical trick to dramatically speed up the code.
Better modularity? Version control? Tests? Experience with SDKs?
- mildbow 11y agoNope. What math trick? You mean knowledge like how caches work? Or, how to spot n^2 solutions that could become n? Or, dynamic programming? Or, linear optimization? Unless you are doing something math specific(in which case you should have someone with more math knowledge than a new grad who can spot these. My first internship had a math phd in the team just for that reason), you will fare much better with your CS grad.
