What can people do about secret backroom deals?
Honestly very little or just about nothing unless you have more money and influence than the mega corps who want this deal passed.
No, what people can do is just ignore the law and defy the government, not like the government wields legitimate power anyway.
- arca_vorago 11y agoThis is the real problem that TPTB dont seem to grasp. If you make the rampant lawlessness visible to the people, the people will stop respecting the law. That is how societies fall apart, when the rule of law is a farce, you can expect nothing but strife.
