That's funny, but it is a real issue preppers often dismiss. If you sit on a big cache o stuff, and have nothing else to offer for the rest of the community, what's going to prevent them from taking it away from you. Though I suspect that in any sort of emergency where the scenario resembles TEOTWAWKI, SHTF, etc, a big proportion of the robbing bands will be preppers who find out the hard way that the only thing in the stash that works as expected is the assault rifle.
