Shitty San Francisco
- zoba 11y agoI think the city has a terrible mayor. The city is full of homeless, its streets and sidewalks are disgusting, there are few public trashcans, public transportation is 'just okay' at best, cost of living is sky rocketing, and to top it all off taxes are huge! Ed Lee, what in the world are you doing!?
- m0llusk 11y agoThis article does not take the subject seriously. The large numbers of homeless and travellers in San Francisco makes providing for people a genuinely difficult problem. There are bus and train stations that remain open to the general public, and it is quite easy to beg for enough money to get a drink and use of a toilet. The aside about problems with the sewage system is a distraction. Use of high flow toilets in the past kept the sewers flowing, but low flow toilets are forcing parts of the sewage system to be redesigned. Part of dealing with that in the short term involved bleach, but both the problem and proposed solutions are more complex than implied here.
