Is it possible that the price of the CHIP is being subsidised by sales for VGA/HDMI shields?
- irl_zebra 11y agoCertainly! I imagine most people are going to get it with the shield versus just running headless. I believe wholesale on a shield like this would be in the $8-9 range, and they're essentially charging an extra $15 for the hdmi.
