I won't put a candidate in a situation which I myself won't want to be in.
While interviewing, I tell the candidate the problem and then leave the room. He is alone and comfortable (I hope). I check back after 30 min. If not done I still give him more time.
- Decade 11y agoPay me a fair wage for my trouble, especially if I succeed at the problem, and maybe I'll feel a lot better about the coding exercise.
