I can imagine a million things that would be annoying for the home owner, but would not be considered crimes or anything that would get you a reimbursement. Guests smoking in a non-smoking home. Leaving a big mess, but not damaging anything. That's the price of renting your place. As soon as something is stolen or damaged, though, I would hope that AirBnB would cover it no matter how small.
