I've been using Node.js/io.js on ARM for a number of projects and have been pretty happy with it. For example using a cheap development board to create a build status light: https://github.com/tantalic/build-light https://github.com/tantalic/build-light. I'm just starting a new project where I am going to give Go a try for ARM development which I suspect may give even better results.
