For a moment I thought Microsoft is releasing a Linux distro with .NET sdk pre-installed.
It would've been great if the author knew what 'distribution' means in this context.
- vezzy-fnord 11y agoIt would've been great if the author knew what 'distribution' means in this context. "Distribution" is hardly specific to Linux distributions in technical circles. I don't know how you got that impression. The term is synonymous with software bundle, e.g. "Erlang/OTP distribution".
- farresito 11y agoDistribution in this context means a million things. The author used the right word.
