Popcorn Time doesn't anonymize BitTorrent participation, right? Just makes it easier?

  Correct. You'd still need a VPN proxy to be anonymous.

  Yes, it's just a BitTorrent client at the end, nothing is changing on that. The improvements are mostly on the UI and the ease to find things.

  Right, and that is the biggest issue I have with the unstoppable claim. I understand that they talk about the service, but even when they mention potential personal liability for the developers in the end, end users are ignored. This is as 'stoppable' or dangerous as torrenting content is in your legislation and this product/service doesn't protect you from prosecution.
