- dev56 12y agoThis bias is just as bad as those who won't interview someone without a college degree. Lots of good developers don't have an active GitHub account. Why is it considered essential to spend all your spare time coding in addition to your full-time job? And unfortunately, a lot of companies won't even give you the time of day (despite lots of experience) if you don't have a college degree. I'd certainly not call it close to obsolete.
