If you are on Firefox, RequestPolicy (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/requestpolicy/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/requestpolicy...) is also useful but I find PrivacyBadger simply does the job better.
