Aspartame is "one of the most thoroughly tested and studied food additives the [FDA] has ever approved"[0]. Most other sweeteners are relatively new and the long term affects on humans and the environment has yet to be proven.

- cbd1984 11y agoTherefore, the conspiracy must be massive and absolutely flawless to make so many scientists think it's not Literally Satan. It all comes together. It all makes sense. I bet it can't melt steel beams, either. /s
- danudey 11y agoAnother problem with sucralose in particular is that it appears to persist through standard wastewater treatment: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2897219/ http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2897219/ Which means that the more sucralose we consume, the more sucralose goes into our ecology, with unknown results on nature.
