I'm a high school teacher. After four years of teaching, I quit my job and spent 13 months living on a bicycle. I went Seattle > Maine > Florida > California > Alaska. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. It's nearing 20 years since I started that trip, and that experience still keeps me grounded today. I plan to bicycle across the continent again in my 50's or 60's to see how much has changed, and how much has stayed the same.
