At first I was kinda psyched about GO (And SPDY), but after looking at it... If computers can read shit like Brainfuck (And therefor any damn syntax we come up

At first I was kinda psyched about GO (And SPDY), but after looking at it... If computers can read shit like Brainfuck (And therefor any damn syntax we come up with), why the hell do so many programming languages /choose/ to look like shit? I mean Ruby does a pretty good job of avoiding this, but looking at things like GO and Java I wonder what the hell went wrong.
