Weird move. I thought various broadcasters had figured that DAB doesn 't provide enough user benefit over FM and fm win on compatibility.
I guess codec proprietors will pocket some royalties.
- kristofferR 12y agoNRK, the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, has actually been one of the biggest pushers of DAB in Norway. Their main public argument is that DAB provides space for many more channels, although their main motivation is probably their own massive cost savings of only producing digital radio.
