I recently spoke to a few people who have worked on these large scale municipal projects. We think we have a hard time managing active software projects. These projects have change orders alone worth well into the 10s of millions. There are so many moving parts, literally, that it is a miracle they get completed at all. I don't find the choice of photos particularly inspiring, from an artistic sense, but it is nice to have a peak into that world.
