My eyes glazed over, yes. Your comments are noxious.
- NoMoreNicksLeft 12y agoIf you were actually thinking, then my comment could only be either correct, incorrect, or indeterminate. You're not used to thinking, and so any comment that you dislike or that irritates your politics is "noxious". This is the part where you rebut with outraged fallacy.
- dang 12y ago> Did you even bother to read > You're not used to thinking These comments break the HN guidelines. Please stop.
- NoMoreNicksLeft 12y agoMy comments were a response to those that already broke the guidelines. The comment confessed to not reading what I wrote, but with a bragging tone. Pointing out that someone is irrational may be a little uncouth, but it needs to be done.
- dang 12y agoIf someone else is breaking the guidelines, you're welcome to email us, but not to break them yourself. > Pointing out that someone is irrational may be a little uncouth, but it needs to be done. It needs not to be done. Making it personal like that never helps. When someone says something untrue, politely point out what is true, and make it about the topic, not them.
