Why not lift something up with a balloon? As computers get smaller you could probably pack more useful stuff into something like a CubeSat.

- kartikkumar 11y agoIt's being done [1] :) I met the CEO, Jose, this weekend in Bremen and he gave a fascinating dinner talk. They are making great advances with the balloon technology. I think we're going to see a lot of novel launch concepts for small satellites in the coming decade, seeing as cluster launches aren't desirable for a number of reasons.
