Why would I use RethinkDB instead of OrientDB?

  Check out http://rethinkdb.com/faq/ http://rethinkdb.com/faq/ for details on when RethinkDB is a great choice. The short version is that if you're building realtime apps, RethinkDB is an awesome choice because it pushes data to the application (which makes building and scaling realtime apps dramatically easier).
