I don't know... I've been looking through the comments to see if anyone else noticed the fact that the experiment was not a randomized control setup. They've let self-selection bias creep into the results, so I'm wondering how much we can infer from them?

"Half the volunteers were allowed to telecommute; the rest remained in the office as a control group." It's an RCT of people who wanted to work remotely.
